Truckers For Miracles (Community Event)

On Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, Truckers for Miracle Kids will be held at Buck Motorsports Park from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Proceeds from Truckers for Miracle Kids, a safe truck driving competition sponsored by the Lancaster Area Safe Truck Drivers committee, will benefit Children’s Miracle Network at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. Truckers for Miracle Kids includes more than 120 local drivers who participate individually or as a team. Trophies are awarded to the top drivers. Along with the driving competition, other activities include a benefit auction at 9:30 a.m., Big Rig Jamboree at 10:00 a.m., games, food, and other children’s activities.
