Chevelle is aging gracefully and will soon celebrate a decade in music with their hometown fans.  The group has booked Chicago's Metro October 28th and 29th for part of their "Ten In 10" anniversary celebration.  The band states, quote, "After more than ten years of writing and releasing records, we thought what better place to come back to than the place where we were first inspired.  We saw our first real rock show at The Metro in 1988 and we thought it would be amazing to mark this point in our career with a show there."  Chevelle is taking part in Shinedown's "Carnival Of Madness" tour this summer, and is promoting the third single from their "Sci-Fi Crimes" album, "Shameful Metaphors."  The tour, which also features Puddle Of Mudd, Sevendust, and 10 Years, will be in Virginia Beach, Virginia on Tuesday.

To kick off the "Ten In 10" bash, Chevelle has made a "Happy Anniversary" section on their website, www.chevelleinc.com, where fans can upload personalized video messages.  The most inventive fan message will win a signed guitar from the band.  VEVO.com is also in on the promotion, showcasing a "Ten In 10" playlist of the band's best videos.
