U2 Celebrates Bill Gates' Birthday

Bill Gates got a special birthday gift when he turned 54 last week. The computer icon rang in the celebration by attending a U2 concert on October 28th in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Naturally, the band learned that Gates was in attendance and celebrating his birthday, leading Bono to give him a shout out midway through the show.

"Without him, and without his business, we just wouldn't be where we are today. It's his birthday today. Bill Gates is in the house," said the singer. He then led the stadium full of people in a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday."
